In memory of
A meaningful way to remember someone special
In memory giving is a thoughtful way to celebrate the life of a loved one while supporting people living with sight loss.
Many families choose to ask for donations to East Cheshire Eye Society in place of flowers at funerals or memorial services. These gifts help us continue providing practical support, social connection and advice to people living with visual impairment.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who chooses to remember someone in this way. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps us continue our work within the local community.
How in memory giving works
There are a number of ways you can give in memory of a loved one:
- Make a one-off donation in their memory
- Set up a collection at a funeral or memorial service
- Create a dedicated tribute page for family and friends to contribute
- Make donations directly to East Cheshire Eye Society in their name
If you would like support setting any of these up, we are here to help.

Your support makes a difference
Gifts made in memory help us continue to support local people with sight loss, offering services that reduce isolation, build confidence and improve everyday independence.
We simply couldn’t continue this work at the level we do without the kindness and generosity of our supporters.
