East Cheshire Eye Society and the Macclesfield Talking Newspaper will be attending the ‘Ageing Well Roadshow’, at St. Michael’s Church, Macclesfield on Friday 29th July 1pm to 4pm.
Why not come along and say hello to our staff and volunteers, and have a look round the rest of the roadshow?
The aim of the Ageing Well Roadshow is to encourage older people to maintain their activity, learning and social interactions in later life whilst offering them the opportunity to find out what is available to them locally.
It also gives local providers and businesses a platform to advertise the services they run for the older population of Macclesfield.
The roadshow will take place at St Michael’s Church, Macclesfield on Friday 29th July 1pm – 4pm. It will comprise of a Marketplace-like area with stalls manned by local providers, some bookable workshops with local providers, an opportunity to have a mini health check up with our nurses and a crafty area where people can try something new. We will also have exclusive access to St Michael’s café for refreshments and sweet treats.
The Roadshow is organised by the Macclesfield Primary Care Network. This is the six Macclesfield GP practices working together to make sure every resident of the Macclesfield area benefits from the best case, and the best services possible
